We are thrilled to share that our collaborative manuscript reporting a cryo-EM structure of the laminin polymer node has been published in Nature Communications. The structure reveals fundamental molecular mechanisms of calcium-dependent formation of laminin lattice, and provides insights into polymerization defects manifesting in human disease, such as Pierson syndrome. CryoEMcorp will be presenting and running a workshop on single-particle cryo-EM and its applications for structure-based drug design at the 2nd Proteome-Targeted Drug Discovery Summit that will be held in Boston, MA on November 16-18, 2020. The summit will unite large pharma and innovative biotech, as well as key opinion leaders in academia to develop and leverage next generation structural and biochemical tools to identify novel targets and optimize structure-guided small molecule discovery to drug the entire proteome.
